" Tea Party"
This started as a challenge by Myrna to do contour drawing, although we were supposed to do wire contour, I ended up doing blind contour, and it was fascinating, almost addictive.

So I decided to experiment with adding washes, I also wanted to compare paper, so I did the middle on Saunders and the top one on Lana, I am beginning to like working on Lana because of the effect I get when lifting the paint.

that's blind contour?? no freaking way, mama. that' amazing. my blind contours are NEVER proportional and are ALWAYS jumbled! haha. unless you used a different technique...
i really liked the last one (even though it's just a sketch or preliminary draft). it reminds me of mrs. potts from beauty and the beast.
p.s. i can't wait to see you guys this weekend!
I can't wait to see you too.
I really had fun with the contour drawing and I am very thankful to Myrna for giving us this challenge, it has broadened my creativity. check her blog she posted my other contour drawing of tata.
Abeer, I love what you are doing. I am so busy I haven't had much time and really want to try some of Myrna's challenges.
Keep up the great work!
