My daughter came from work the other day, too tired she crashed on the sofa, I couldn't resist the urge to sketch her, and I thought of painting series of that sketch, so I attempted the first painting but it was so dull and lifeless compared to the lively sketch, I was very frustrated so I thought I would take a break from painting on the weekend, but that is when I remembered what Mike Bailey's advice was... when you get bored and frustrated that is when you should continue and you will get better results, so I give it another try and I was more satisfied with it. Stay tuned for more of this series.

I look forward to seeing what you do. This is a great subject, and a difficult one, with the foreshortening. I agree--you should keep going! (easier said than done!)
Way to Go, Ambara !!! This piece has a wonderful feeling about it! Y'see? Details aren't what carries the piece. What you have done with line and the drawing holds the mood. Well done!
P.S. France trip is filling up. Know someone who might be interested in jumping aboard soon?
hahaha
